Ron Bird began developing as an artist at the age of 12. He first started by painting along with Bob Ross’ “Joy of Painting” television series. Even though he was only 12, admirers quickly realized that Ron had a natural talent for creating wondrous works of art. By 14 he was winning awards and selling his paintings to collectors from around the world. His art interests expanded to drawing, sculpting, and photography.
After graduating high school in Mesquite, NV, Ron served 4 years in the United States Marine Corps. While he was in the military he met and married his wife Caroline, who was also serving in the Marine Corps. They started their family right away and had two daughters, Rachel and Alyssa.
After his military service, Ron moved back to Mesquite, NV and became in insurance agent, joining his father in the family business. Over the next several years, his passion for art and photography grew. Ron continued to hone his craft and studied at The Art Institute in Las Vegas. After nearly a decade in the insurance industry, he finally made the leap and decided to pursue a career in his calling. Ron has been a full-time artist ever since.
Ron currently lives and works out of Mesquite, NV. His skills and artistic vision are demanded from around the world. He is available to travel world-wide on assignment as needed.
